Veteran’s Celebrated

The class recently had a discussion about why we celebrate veteran’s and found many of us had dads, grandpas, and great-grandpas who had served in the military.  We thought they helped us all by keeping us safe and secure.   We have many freedoms because they did their part protecting our country.     We had parades and people gave thanks to the men and women who served our country in wars.  Do you celebrate the armed forces?   Do you have a special day that honors them?   What do you do for them?
